122 Naked People on a Roller Coaster!

A record number of people gathered in the English town of Essex and took a roller coaster ride completely naked. Wonder why?

112 people gathered at the Adventure Island theme park in the South of Essex in England to break a special kind of record. They took a roller coaster ride without any clothes on. The roller coaster called Green Scream had to make three rides so that all the people could take part in the event. The previous record was 32 people who took a naked roller coaster ride in Staffordshire, in 2004.

Naked roller coaster ride in the name of charity

The charity event was organized by Tracy Jones, the founder of the Bosom Pals Foundation, and they gathered over 22,000 pounds which were donated to the local hospitals for treating breast cancer. The money is intended for two new digital mamographs which cost 750,000 pounds. Tracy Jones thanked all the people who participated and added, that a person has to have a lot of courage to drop all their clothes in front of such a large crowd of spectators.

Phillip Miller, the boss of Adventure Island, said: ''People have traveled from all parts of the United Kingdom to take part in the event. Some of them shared their amazing stories about recovering from breast cancer. Most of them were directly or indirectly affected by the disease and they wanted to help others in any way possible.''
