Accidents during intercourse: Crying after sex

Crying after sex can be a very emotional and intimate moment and, on the other hand, it can be a very unpleasant experience, especially if it’s a man that cries. This usually involves an outburst of emotions triggered by the emotional intimacy of sexual intercourse itself. It involves a range of emotions from joy, gratitude, sadness, emptiness, happiness to all the possible combinations. If you have a strong bond with your partner, such a moment additionally strengthens your bond, but if a stranger starts crying in your bed, this can be very dreadful and pathetic. In any case, crying after sex is a normal phenomenon and everything’s fine with you and your partner.

Accidents during intercourse: Fainting

This doesn’t occur very often, but it’s a possibility and may frighten you very much during sexual intercourse. The common cause of loosing consciousness is hyperventilation. You breath increasingly faster and shallower, start lacking oxygen and the combination of a physical and the lack of oxygen causes faintness.  Loss of consciousness is associated with the term ‘the little death’ (le petit mort) when a woman has a blackout because of an orgasm. As such slight suffocation triggers certain hormones which increase pleasure, the logical conclusion is that the orgasm is more intense and reached quicker. This particularly applies to men whose premature ejaculation is often associated with breathing that is too fast and too shallow. If you therefore notice that your breathing is uncontrolled and that you feel dizzy, you have to breathe more slowly and deeply. If a person nevertheless loses consciousness, you ensure that there’s a sufficient flow of fresh air and the person will gradually re-gain consciousness. Check whether he or she’s breathing and turn the person on his or her hip.

Accidents during intercourse: Sounds

We’ve already talked about pleasant and unpleasant sounds. The most common sounds are vaginal farts. These are taken for granted by experienced lovers, but they’re a real nightmare for young couples. There’s only one solution and that’s laughter. If you’re extremely bothered by vaginal farting, you can stop having sexual intercourse for a moment and change the position; it's best that your pelvis is positioned lower than your shoulders and that you use shallow thrusts and a circular motion. Another sound that you don’t want to hear is a cracking sound. This sound indicates a fractured penis, meaning that you have to go to the hospital immediately. Farting isn’t necessarily produced by the vagina. It can also be produced by the rectum, especially if you had to break wind before sexual intercourse. It's common to feel pressure on the abdomen because pleasure and orgasm relax anal sphincters. Given that you’re enjoying yourself, don’t be distracted by farting and try to ignore the whole thing as it’s always an awkward situation for both partners. If sounds are accompanied by foul smells, there’s a completely new problem that is easily solved by changing the room and position where you can control your emissions. And remember that laughter is the solution to everything.

Accidents during intercourse: Death

These cases aren’t rare. Death can be caused by sexual intercourse. The physical activity increases your heart rate, thus causing heart failure or stroke. The latest most famous case is that of Father Matthew McConaughey and the most bizarre case ever is that of the former French president, Felix Faure, who allegedly died during fellatio (if it was fellatio or something else or nothing at all, we’ll never know). The rumour is that Marguerite Steinheil, who performed the notorious fellatio, got cramp in her jaw and that she was separated from his penis in the hospital. Speculations aren’t confirmed, but they’re no less entertaining. Anyway, if you die during sexual intercourse, you can be happy. If a person dies on top of you, console yourself with the thought that you gave the person the best death possible.
