Will it be a Boy or a Girl?

Making love is not only an issue of pleasure and well being but a necessary means of procreation as well. The main purpose of sex is to sire progeny, or so we have been told. Taoists believe that the pace at which sexual intercourse is undertaken determines the gender of the child. This particular hypothesis springs from an eastern philosophical branch that had begun to “lay its spawn” thousands of years ago. However, it isn’t backed by western science, though medical studies have revealed that men, who suffer from premature ejaculation, tend to father sons. This goes hand in hand with the Taoist belief that a couple will be graced with male progeny if the sexual stamina of the man is inferior to that of his mate. If it’s the other way round, the offspring’s gender would most probably be governed by the X chromosome. So, if you want to “make a boy”, the Taoist ideology advises you to do it quick, ejaculate before your partner reaches orgasm, and “detach” your penis half-way just before your “man juice” hits the “pipeline”. If your common goal is to get a daughter, the sexual intercourse should take a bit longer and the most important condition is that the woman experiences a whole lot of orgasms, while the man penetrates as deep as possible in order to ejaculate the semen as close to the uterus as can be.

"Female Spermatozoa" Travel Faster than their "Male Counterparts"

The scientific reasons behind this “pre-zygotic gender determination theory” are that the cervix and the uterus contain acidic secretions which are neutralized by alkaline substances during orgasm, and that the spermatozoa carrying male chromosomes advance slower than the ones carrying the female X. So, in order to father a boy you should “do it quick” and ejaculate as soon as possible while the acidic concentration in the secretions of the woman remains high enough. Ejaculating fast during shallow penetration increases the distance which the spermatozoa have to travel, before they reach the ovum. Since “female spermatozoa” tend to swim faster than their male counterparts, they reach the acidic environment quicker. There they dissolve and neutralize it, creating an environment that is more favorable for the “male spermatozoa” to fertilize the ovum. To go for a girl, the man should take his woman on a journey through many orgasms so that the alkaline substances neutralize the acidic secretions and create a favorable environment for “female spermatozoa”. A deep penetration shortens the distance which the “female spermatozoa” have to travel in the first place, which brings you a step closer towards having a baby girl. It is also advisable for women to take a bath containing an alkaline solution before embarking on a quest towards creating your own little miracle.

The child could end up suffering from ADHD and have a nasty temper. There are also some weather-related issues which you should take into account when planning a pregnancy. For example, it is not advisable to make babies during sunset since they could suffer from sight impairments. Siring a child during a heavy storm or a hurricane would also be an unwise choice.

Other influences that could negatively affect the pregnancy and the baby are drug abuse and heavy medication (e.g. HIV medication, diabetes medication and medication for other kinds of chronic illnesses; mental ailments included) since the child could end up suffering from nervous system and mental disorders.
