Penises as war trophies

The most penises taken as trophies after the battle - definitely a strange record.

In the year 1300 BC, the Egyptian king Menephta defeated the Libyans. As proof of his triumph, he brought back thirteen thousand penises the soldiers chopped off of their opposition. On the Karnak monument we can read:

• Penises of Libyan generals: 6
• Penises cut off from Libyans: 6359
• Killed Sicilians, number of penises cut off: 222
• Killed Etruscans, number of penises cut off: 542
• Killed Greeks, penises given to the king: 6111

It would certainly be interesting to know what the widows of the unfortunate soldiers would have to say to this.
