A sex museum is a place that portrays erotic art, historic sexual accessories and documents about the history of erotica. Sexual and erotic museums became popular in Europe between 1960 and 1970, in the time of the sexual revolution. After 1990, they mostly got the name of erotic museums and museums of erotic arts.

In the USA, the most famous erotic museum is in New York. In Amsterdam, they have a number of erotic museums and the oldest still open museum, which was opened in 1985, is a real attraction in the Dutch city. In the museum, you can see life-size dolls, all performing different sexual acts. More in the video.
