Smokers have difficulties with erection

30.05.2009 | By: S. M.

The men who smoke a packet per day are 40% more prone to impotence than non-smokers.

The research published in the Tobacco Control, an international peer review journal, included 8000 men aged between 16 and 59. Emphasis was placed on their erection. One in ten men admitted to have problems with erection at least once a month.

Researchers believe that, in the future, problems with sex will be a very strong reason for young men to stop smoking. In comparison with other diseases connected with smoking, problems with sex are evident immediately. In addition, sex is the area in which men, particularly young men, do not want to have any problems.
