Pubic wigs or merkins appeared around 1400 and they were mostly worn by women who shaved off their pubes as a protection from pubic lice. Prostitutes wore them to cover the signs of a certain disease, such as syphilis.

Funny fact about sex #2: Semen is good for your skin

Proteins in the semen make the skin tighter. If you leave the semen to dry, your skin will look tight, firm and less wrinkly. Many are turned off by this beauty treatment because they are repulsed by the fact that they would have to put semen on the face.

Funny fact about sex #3: Men who watch porn movies with men, produce more semen

The research showed that men who watch porn movies with, for example, two men and a woman in them, produce more semen that those who watch only women in action. The scientists speculate that the reason for it lies in the fact that watching male competition triggers larger production of reproductive material on a subconscious level.

Funny fact about sex #4: Sex just for fun is not present only among people

The general opinion is that animals have sex only as means of reproduction, but the facts tell a different story. It was observed that the dolphins and chimpanzees indulge in sexual activities even when they're not in the reproductive period. The chimpanzees actually practice everything from anal to oral intercourse. When they conquer a new territory or find a new food supply, a general excitement occurs which leads to group sex.

Funny fact about sex #5: Penguins are familiar with prostitution

Believe it or not, some female penguins are ready to offer sexual favors in exchange for little rocks that they use for building nests. The zoologists explain that these female penguins focus on single male penguins, because otherwise the other female penguins would physically attack them.
