Unbelievable: A skier suspended on a ski lift with his bottom bared

Last Thursday, an incident happened at a ski resort in Colorado which will probably get its epilogue in an out-of-court settlement. A 48 year-old skier got stuck on a ski lift in such a way that he was hanging with his head facing downwards. A malfunction of the lift was supposedly to blame. The skier’s right ski got stuck, as did his trousers, so the man was hanging upside down with his bottom bared. The ski lift was instantly stopped. The skier, who was accompanied by a child, was hanging for fifteen minutes before any rescue attempt was made. After that period, the staff of the ski resort came to his rescue and saved the embarrassed gentleman from the ski lift. All of this was photographed by a photographer who was passing by. The managers of the ski resort explained that the skier wasn’t injured and the journalists aren’t reporting on how the incident even occurred. The name of the skier also remains anonymous.
