Steamy and wet eroticism
When Alan Parker, the director of Evita and Mississippi Burning, made Angel Heart in 1987, viewers couldn’t believe their eyes. The story is a combination of a classic detective thriller, a cult horror movie and a steamy and wet eroticism that hit them from all sides. Also from those that were completely safe and intact up to 1987. It is a very direct “freak show”, private Lucifer’s party feared even by God himself. The story consists of the extremely deep, direct, harsh and cruel turn of events, intrigues, complications, sex, shocks and remarkable, high-quality black humor that would even make Edgar Allan Poe tired.
Movie that would make Marquis de Sade proud
It is a pure Marquis de Sade where genitals are chopped off, the brain is shot through and hearts are cut out. The autochthon voodoo magic and reincarnation of Goethe’s Faust in its most extreme form. In addition, it is a deliberate provocation and an attack on America’s family values, on The Cosby Show, the series that turned little Lisa Bonet into a porn star. A wild and horny voodoo priestess, who cuts chickens’ heads off, smears her body with blood, and experiences ultimate orgasms. Naturally, good old Bill Cosby went nuts and kicked her off his super successful series.
Movie in which Lisa Bonet sheds most of her clothes
Angel Heart is a story about a private investigator, Harry Angel (excellent Mickey Rourke, who could become Bruce Willis, if he felt like it), who is hired by has mysterious Louis Cyphre (Robert DeNiro) to track down an even more mysterious man, singer Johnny Favorite, and at the time it came out, the movie was considered very controversial. A lot of skeletons in the closet were revealed. And that’s only because Lisa Bonet shed almost all her clothes and the movie dared to venture further than all the then movies. To the maximum limit and beyond the bounds of good taste. Up to the limit where there are really good, top, cult and daring movies. Movies too good for Oscars and financial success. It was, of course, clear that Bill Cosby will freak out and kick Lisa Bonet off his series because her role was very provocative and erotic, especially in the scene where she has intercourse with Mickey Rourke, Nicole Kidman's lover in Nine and a Half Weeks, who is so passionate that it almost ends with her death.
