The crisis starts in bed

Michael Douglas, who had another big hit the same year with Wall Street, is a yuppie. He is married, tidy, handsome and a successful businessman. That is until Douglas meets a blond called Alex Forrest (Glenn Close) one day. There is chemistry between them. The hormones are raging. Alex is a femme fatale. She is fatal, deadly, disastrous for anyone who comes near. Alex is an AIDS warning. She is the worst punishment for cheaters and a woman who is able to turn both heads on a man in one breath. She loves quickies in lifts and on the kitchen sink. She is crazy about passion and spontaneity. She is crazy, period. Douglas falls for her charms just like any yuppie would. When his wife is not home, he grabs her, bangs her, grabs her again and bangs her again. The next morning he tells her that that was it and that they will talk when he has time. The broad does not understand. She goes nuts. She cuts her wrists and gets a nervous breakdown. Douglas is scared, pulls her together with great difficulty and again bids adieu. He thinks it will be for good, but she has other plans.

Revenge

The show starts. And so does his worst nightmare. Alex is going crazy. She keeps calling him on the phone, she threatens him, kidnaps his daughter and cooks the rabbit. It scared all the cheating men, made the feminists angry and it made the roles of Michaela Douglasa and Glenn Close unforgettable, it found a convincing mixture of drama, erotic elements and a thriller. The only mistake was the ending, which was too wild, where Glenn Close successfully imitates Jason Voorhees from Friday the 13th.
