Did you know that Madonna played a role in an erotic movie? She even tried to hide it from the public for five years ...

The infamous debut

Madonna was causing a stir for a time with some very old photographs where she’s completely naked and which one of her fans bought for an amazing 30 thousand euros (39 thousand dollars). A little after these pictures were taken she also shot a fairly obscure erotic movie A Certain Sacrifice, which she tried to hide from the viewers once she was already a star. The viewers still managed to find it and took pleasure from seeing Madonna at a very early age. You’re right, when Madonna, who was still named Madonna Louise Ciccone at that time, shot this low-budget terrible movie without any real story, she was only 19. She had no musical career, she was a third-rate dancer and had taken some hairy photos that not many people like nowadays.

If you’ve seen the thriller Body of Evidence, then you know that she’s no stranger to nudity on the movie screen.

Wild teenager

The movie is 60 short minutes long and the narrator has to explain a story which doesn’t even exist. Madonna is a girl named Bruna – a wild teenager who falls in love with a delinquent young man named Dashiell (Jeremy Pattnosh). She also shows us group sex with two women and one man. We also see a rape scene and a concert where some idiots are causing trouble. To Madonna’s dismay and anger, the movie came to the scene in 1985. The audience was naturally disappointed because they didn’t see the promised nudity and sex everyone who saw the movie in 1980 was talking about. It was obviously false advertisement and an ambitious move by the creators who tried to sell the movie a few years later.

Madonna is a mistress of provocation. She’s shown this many times on stage as well.

Madonna is, with the exception of Evita, where she was truly excellent, a pretty bad actress, as you know. That’s why she tried to impress movie audiences with her body. She went the furthest in the 1991 documentary Truth or Dare, where she had fellatio with a bottle (among other things) and in the 1993 movie Body of Evidence, which is a pale copy of Basic Instinct and where she has passionate intercourse with Willem Dafoe and gives us several instances of frontal nudity. All this unfortunately didn’t help her to any real movie stardom, but in terms of courage, she surpassed both movies when she put out the album and book with the title Erotica, where she explained her steamiest sexual fantasies to the public without shame.
