In principle, the period of “regeneration” differs from penis to penis. Some men can retain the sexual organ in the erective state even after having an orgasm and go on with intercourse without taking the penis out of the vagina or the anus. Others are not so fortunate and they need a lot more time for the penis to regain its strength and get ready for further action. When men get older, their regeneration period extends, but it differes from man to man as well as different situations.  A number of men can achieve multiple orgasms before the sexual organ needs its regeneration period. Those who take the magic pill prior to intercourse do not need regeneration because the fellow is instantly ready for action.

In any case, it is not advisable to continue stimulation after experiencing orgasm if the penis is not completely hard. This can extend its regeneration period, and sexual intercourse with a less hard penis is not as pleasing as it is with an erect penis. It is recommended that during a break you focus on sensual foreplay with kissing and fondling and leave the penis to rest. You should continue penetration  when it is truly hard and ready for it.
