Who is usually the third person?
The third person who appears between a married couple is in most cases a co-worker, best friend or an ex-flame. But only every sixth person of those who are in love with someone else is ready to have an affair. The good news for those who are married to such a person is that according to statistics the feeling of being in love with someone else lasts approx. for 3 years and 3 months. If you therefore survive the crisis and patch things up, a successful marriage is still possible. A few percents deviated from the statistics by claiming they will be in love for as long as they will be able to remember the person.
The research also showed that a third of those who are married is unsatisfied with their marriage. Among them are marriages which do not have the disturbing element of a third person. It is often harder for men to commit and tie the know while being in love with someone else at the same time than it is for women. More men are willing to leave their wife for a mistress, 29 percent to be exact while only 19 percent of women are willing to leave their husband for a lover.
