Improve your self-confidence #1: Do not compare yourself to TV stars

The worst you can do for you self-esteem it to compare yourself to famous actresses, singers and models. You will only feel miserable because you cannot measure up to them. Of course women forget that the photographs of famous people are always airbrushed to the extreme. They also use body doubles for naked scenes and wear lots and lots of make-up. In short, you should love your body and keep in mind that other women also look very ordinary in the morning without any lipstick and with messy hair.

Improve your self-confidence #2: Choose the right clothes

It is time to throw away the clothes that do not make you look good, that make you look fat and that are too tight, even tough you have been hoping to lose weight for years. Buy clothes that make you look good at this moment, clothes that make you feel sexy and confident. Do not forget to buy some sexy underwear which will make you feel very attractive. Why change your body if you can achieve the same effect just with your clothes.

Improve your self-confidence #3: Choose the appropriate workout

Physical activity can do you no harm so it is good not to neglect it. If you do not like going to fitness or aerobics or if you do not like the idea of losing weight in a group, you can decide for a different type of workout. You can choose swimming, walking, cycling or maybe even horse riding, tennis or yoga. And do not forget that you can burn up to 100 calories during passionate sex, so it can be quite a workout, too.

The food you eat can affect the way you feel. Make a healthy plan for your meals. If your finances allow it you can also consult an expert who will help you to put together a good dietary plan. Or take advice from the book Idiot's Guide to Amazing Sex: ''You should learn to eat when you are hungry not when you are alone and bored. '' If you have the feeling that you only eat because of your emotional troubles you should seek the help of a psychiatrist.

You should be realistic and have a look at the photos of your parents or even your grandparents. It will give you a good idea what to expect from your own body, for example after the pregnancy or in later years. If your grandmother was not exactly thin there is a greater chance that you also won't be unless you take good care of your body. Do not think you can eat anything you want just because your mother was really thin.

Improve your self-confidence #6: Become a seductress

Men love women who act like real women. When you go out in the evening put on a sexy dress, act seductively, with confidence and charm and let others hit on you. It does not matter if you do not have a model figure. Use your charm and do not think about things you do not posses. Your personality can be as important as your body.
