Anal intercourse isn’t intercourse?
There’s been plenty said on whether anal intercourse is real intercourse or not. We’re doing anal intercourse a great disservice with this. The conviction that this is gay intercourse and that a woman can’t get pregnant with it is one of the reasons for this belief. But this isn’t the case. We know that there’s not just one true type of intercourse and that there’s no gay, lesbian or straight sexual practice.
Unprotected intercourse
Every time you have relations, you have to be aware that
pregnancy can occur with every type of sexual intercourse between a man and a woman where ejaculation occurs. The most likely way for a woman to get pregnant is if she’s penetrated by the penis into the vagina. However, this isn’t the only way. All other types of intercourse aren’t a form of contraception. There are many way to protect yourself from pregnancy, but different ways of having intercourse don’t belong here, except if you decide to use a strap-on.
How can a woman get pregnant with anal intercourse?
Some decide to have anal intercourse because they don’t want pregnancy and also because they dislike the thought of using a condom. A woman truly can’t get pregnant if she’s penetrated in the anus, but still – all types of sexuality where ejaculation is involved are potentially dangerous. Usually, what goes into the anus also comes out. It’s not that difficult for the sperms to swim into the vagina through the moist female crotch. However, it is true that this type of pregnancy is rare.
If you decide to have anal intercourse for the sake of protection, it’s preferable to use some other form of protection and have the intercourse you really want, not only because a woman can get pregnant but also because of sexually transmitted diseases. If you want to use protection from pregnancy, do it right.
The most important thing is to do the sexual practices because you want to do them, not because they’re an easy way out of a tough situation. Lust is a much better stimulant and makes intercourse more pleasant than the fear of pregnancy.
