When she is purring in your lap and you are convinced you are ready for takeoff, by no means do the following mistakes!

1. Awkward moment: When you say the wrong name...

Unless you are really lucky, your current girlfriend probably does not have the same name as the previous one. Most women like to hear their names whispered during sexual intercourse. As a real lover you want to please her but sometimes it would be better to keep quiet. Even though you coincidentally call her “Mary” instead of “Lisa”, you will be in a lot of trouble. So what can you do when such an awkward moment occurs? Do not look her in the eyes. Once she looks you in the eyes, all further attempts will be to no avail – that is, if you even have the guts to talk. Try to turn it into a joke and call her by another different name – pretend that you did not mix her name with your exes, but you just wanted to do some role-playing. But do not try excuses and do not hesitate. Whatever you do, do it with confidence and conviction.

2. Awkward moment: Knocking the teeth, heads and elbows

Sighing, moaning and screaming can take a person far away from reality. They encourage you to do it “faster” and “stronger”. This could lead to accidents, like falling off the bed, cramps, knocking your heads together in the dark. These are good reasons why you should occasionally have your eyes open when doing it. Sometimes, it is good to close your eyes and go with the flow. If some small injury occurs at moments like this, laugh at it together. The laughter will do away with the potential awkward moment and it will relax you. You can continue on the floor.

3. Awkward moment: Talking dirty is not for everyone

Talking dirty during intercourse is not everyone’s cup of tea. People who are usually aroused by it can get turned off if it is done inappropriately. If you see that your girl’s face is distorted and she stops what she is doing, then you have chosen your words poorly. Do not try to wiggle your way out of it again because that will probably only make the moment even more awkward. Turn it into a joke and tell her that she should also say something nasty to you. You may find out you both like it.

4. Awkward moment: No trespassing

In the heat of the moment, our imagination naturally goes wild and we think of many things. Sometimes even about stuff that is inappropriate. You will soon see if your suggestion is frowned upon. This is the best moment to be honest and open. Apologize for your suggestion and also tell her you suggested this only because you feel incredibly relaxed with her and up for all excesses in sexuality and that you never thought of doing something like this with anyone else. This “honesty” can actually get you the desired results.

Awkward situations are unavoidable. Each one is different and requires a different approach. Practice will help you determine which action is best. But any awkward situation can be resolved and it does not mean that you will finish before the end.
