When I was studying for my final exams, a friend of mine described to me the most unforgettable sexual experience she had ever had. She called it tantric sex. What is tantric sex?

 
In ancient India, the people who practised tantra renounced "normal" sexual pleasure to achieve higher levels of satisfaction. In order to reach them, they engaged in a foreplay which lasted for several hours and led to sexual intercourse. You have to make several breaks during intercourse, which may in time lead to orgasm (which is not obligatory and doesn't include ejaculation). Tantric sex is therefore the longest possible foreplay, prolonging pleasure with the desire to achieve a deeper connection with the partner. In normal sex, as we know, we have foreplay as long as we can hold out and then we quickly satisfy our passion.
