These kinds of social "games" are getting easier to perform because of greater mobility and liberalization in our lives. However, “fuck friends” are often just a desire which is accompanied by shame. It's usually easier to observe these phenomena than participate in them. The high percentage of impotence in our society shows that inhibitions are often more present than we think.

The idea may sound thrilling

Many couples are thrilled at the idea of switching partners, while others see this as a kind of evil influence in a relationship (triolism), and prefer not to endanger the highly specific language that develops between two people in real and perfect sexual communication.

Thinking about the things and people around us

As soon as sex is involved, most people forget about their surroundings and the people involved, even though some may be very upset about them after the act. Most men could bear such a social setting, and some women are aroused by the idea, but others are terribly repelled by it.

It’s harder to do it sober

Orgies often require a lot of stimulation in the form of alcoholic potions to make the situation easier, which proves that the situation is unusual. One can’t get rid of two thousand years of preaching and moralizing about sexuality by simply taking off one's underwear.

Where do participants of orgies belong on the social scale?

Usually, participants of orgies come from wealthy upper middle classes, the elite and the entertainment industry. We suspect (we're biased, of course) that orgies, once you attend them a few times, are just as boring and fake as the non-sexual parties organised by the same people.

Even if only those people who are really good at sex gathered there, that still wouldn’t be enough to get them past the lack of instinctive understanding between strangers in comparison to real lovers.

Looking for self-confidence

Participating in orgies is supposedly connected to one's search for self-confidence, and active participants are often people who most likely fail at intimate relationships. Even though participating in orgies can be seen as an honourable purpose, we can’t talk about high-quality sex.

It's men who usually trick their partners into doing this, and no wonder complications easily occur. But complications and conflicts can occur anywhere, even in a game of poker. Nevertheless, it's a fact that real ”swingers” get tired of swinging after a while and return (at least temporarily) to a sexual relationship involving two people.
