How to Measure Your Penis?

Do you also measure your penis size? A lot of men worry a great deal about the size of their penis. But does the size really matter to women?

Both length and width matter...

The size of a penis is measured in terms of its length and width. The length is, of course, measured when the penis is erect. So, if you want to measure your penis, grab a ruler and position it against the point where the shaft meets the abdomen and then simply read the length to the tip of the head. The width or “girth” is the measurement taken around the penis at its widest point. It’s best if you take both measurements several times because the results can differ, depending on the level of arousal, room temperature or the time that has passed from the last sexual intercourse. The average of these measurements shows the size of your penis. It’s, of course, relative whether or not this is enough.

Most men think that the penis should be really big

Men undoubtedly have a very special relationship with their penises, so it’s not surprising that, considering how important their penis is to them, they also wonder whether their pride and joy differs in length from an average-sized penis. The answer to their doubts, questions and worries is often that size doesn’t matter to women. In that context, men are also reassured that they can make up for their missing inches with a good technique. Nevertheless, men who think (often without any good reason) that their penis isn’t big enough aren’t really convinced by these arguments. On the other hand, men who are very satisfied with the size of their penis are much more confident as they should be. They believe that since they have a large penis there’s no need for any sexual technique. As quality’s always better than quantity, they are often amazed at the fact that their partners don’t purr from delight during sex.

Men want big ones, but what about women?

The majority of women are quite pleased with an average-sized penis because most nerve endings are located at the entrance to the vagina. So just why men seem so convinced that women like an above-average penis if such a penis doesn’t offer any extra pleasure remains a mystery. It’s actually the other way round. If you measure your penis and it turns out that it’s very large, many women may be turned off by the size of your penis because such penetration can be painful and unpleasant and oral sex can be uncomfortable and suffocating. Men who have huge penises can also say goodbye to anal sex because it’s just too painful for their partners. So, it’s obvious that size does matter, but not in the way you might have thought.
