Necrophilia: Turned On by Dead People

Necrophilia is common among gravediggers and undertakers

Sexologist Theodor Wulffen wrote in one of his books that necrophilia is very common among gravediggers and undertakers because they are in contact with dead bodies every day. Especially if a rather attractive young woman who died of natural causes lies in front of them, which means that her body is undamaged. And for people who are aroused by that, the young body is a true aphrodisiac. They have the possibility to indulge in sexual fantasies where they can do anything that comes to mind. A dead body is unable to fight back and a necrophile can therefore fulfill all his sick desire. Wulffen emphasizes that they usually masturbate as opposed to a sexual act, which is logical because a dead woman is unable to be aroused and real coitus is therefore difficult.

Necrophiles are actually sadists

Legendary Richard von Krafft-Ebing, the father of sexual pathology, understood necrophilia in a different way and connected it with sadism. According to his opinion, these are people who are afraid of their violent desires for live women and vent their violence on dead bodies that are unable to put up any resistance. They want to achieve complete dominance and think that in fact they will not commit a serious criminal offense. Wilhelm Stekel, a Sigmund Freud’s follower, believed that necrophilia is a sort of an atavistic remainder of a past stage of human development. Therefore, it used to be a normal phenomenon in our development which was suppressed to the unconscious by humans. Paul J. Gillette, the author of the book Sex Variants, defines this theory as science fiction and agrees with Richard von Krafft-Ebing and Theodor Wuffen, but he adds that the claim that necrophilia is most common among gravediggers and undertakers is slightly too rude and superficial.

Young men who dug up dead women

It is P. J. Gillette that gives a terrifying example of a 25-year old man who became a necrophile. He started as a pervert in female toilets where he drank urine and later offered his services to women as a master of breast licking. As he was not very successful at it, he started digging up bodies and thus found a different kind of satisfaction. He sucked their breasts and licked the genitals, and he even had sexual intercourse with them from time to time. He dug up women of all ages and vented his sexual fantasies for years. An example of a 46-year old officer is no less horrible. He also dreamt about dead bodies and wildly masturbated. As he could not get hold of real bodies, he found his satisfaction in animal bodies. He slashed their bellies, took out the entrails and masturbated. Later he screwed up his courage and started digging up dead people. Before slashing them as well, he did all the things possible and enjoyed himself as never before. One day he admitted to his psychiatrist that a live woman could not give him so much pleasure as a dead one who was a sheer paradise for powerful orgasm.

Fake necrophilia

The cult author, the Marquis de Sade, dealt with the so-called fake necrophilia in his novel The 120 Days of Sodom. He describes a man who demands from a prostitute to act as a dead body. She has to coat herself with chicken blood and pretend to be murdered. You will find something similar in the book La Prostitution Contemporaine, where the author describes perverse priests who celebrate a mass for a woman that plays dead, and then jump into her coffin and have wild sex with her. In the end, let us give examples of film stars who pass away. For instance, Marilyn Monroe who was found naked. You can only imagine what pathologists did with her beautiful body, or what gravediggers and undertakers did with the body of the film goddess.
