Reflection on Having Sex in Church

We aren’t permitted to have sex everywhere, but such places are the most tempting and have a special charm. Let’s take you to the forbidden delights in the forbidden places...

There is nothing more attractive than a naughty nun.

Place: Holy ground

Usually it’s a church. You are not to have sex in a church, which is understandable. However, the place stirs your imaginations and it’s the first place we will deal with and research. In ancient times, the Holy Land often meant the place or vicinity of an object, statue or building. This place was a site of sacrifice, worship and prayer but it was different from culture to culture. The Temple of Salomon in Jerusalem is on the one hand the holiest place on earth but on the other it’s a slaughterhouse and market. In general, there is always something mysterious, mystical and incomprehensible about holy places. Bread turns into the body of Jesus, and wine turns into his blood, which Christians then eat and drink. Dionysus was torn to pieces and eaten, but then he was resurrected as a symbol of the new forces of nature. Strange, cruel and mysterious things take place on holy ground. It’s the mystery that attracts people. Those who believe in energy say that these places are especially chosen and they radiate stronger energy. This energy may also play an important role in sex life, particularly for the conception. There is a special sort of peace in holy places which everyone can feel.

Prohibition on sex in church

In reality, I haven’t yet heard of a prohibition relating one way or another to sexual behavior in holy places. In any case, it’s regulated by a ban or a taboo. Most common are churches, holy places and Catholic communities. I never heard of such a prohibition during my classic education, at least not directly. As sex isn’t the most desired pastime for a Catholic, it’s logical that you don’t have sex in a church, and most people are raised in that belief. However, the question remains whether the place was desecrated by the act, and why you wouldn’t have sex in a church, chapel, mosque, etc. If blood runs through holy places, people die there and are born (symbolically), if people trade there (literary), and if people enjoy events there (concerts), why does the thought of having sex in church repel people? Catholic Church has a simple answer; the attitude to the body and sexuality is based so as to cause the feeling of sin and guilt. If you can overcome the obstacle and not give in, it’s probably easier to imagine having sex in a church because, I repeat, it’s not banned as in the case of having sex in a public place. If you’re alone, you’re alone with what you believe in, with God, other gods, energies, extraterrestrials, angels, ancestors, etc. You are only liable to them and only they can ban things.

Erotic character of holy places

Most of you probably wonder why people would have sex in a place where they may insult members of the church and God, where they take a risk of getting a cold, where the picture of a crucified and bloody man stares at you? As if there weren’t any other suitable places. Of course there are, but churches and other holy places also have a strong erotic charge, which depends on an individual. That’s one way of understanding it, while others remain cool. An individual needs to be introduced to this symbolism in order to get used to it and form an attitude towards it. By kneeling on the cold floor of the church, going to Sunday school and masses, forming an attitude to Mary, Jesus or any kind of supernatural force. By starting to think about the nonsense of the Immaculate Conception, the relationship between Mary Magdalene and Jesus, the housewife, the vicar and the young female teachers of Sunday school and so on. By experiencing the tingling sensation in the stomach because of the scent of myrrh and the mysticism of rituals, which makes it easy to imagine a general orgy in God’s honor. By talking about sexual encounters eagerly in a confessional and always feeling naked before God. God can always see your soul as well as underneath your clothing.

We never know what priests wear underneath their frocks, and whether nuns wear any underwear. And what can be more erotic than having sex while listening to a Bach’s fugue? I dare say that if you don’t establish an erotic relationship with God, your faith is weak. As in general God is a man, Catholics immediately launched the Virgin Mary. What can be more erotic than a virgin who has given birth, still has a slim waist, and remains a virgin? Those who open their eyes recognize the abundance of erotica in churches and other holy places. The best sex is the sex blessed by God which can usually (although God is everywhere) only happen in holy places.
