Sexy Language

Many couples use sexy language prior to and during sexual intercourse, because it thrills them, teases them, and turns them on.

Scientific studies show that sexy language is used in one way or another by almost 70 percent of the couples. The latter differ among themselves by the way they use specific words. Some couples are turned on by wildly vulgar language, while others prefer romantic phrases, jokes, or specific words that are their fetish ... The so-called “dirty talk,” termed also erotolalia, was first mentioned in the texts by Duncan McDougald. He claims that it involves “a desire for listening to or using sensual words as an important aspect of sexual excitement or satisfaction.”

It's interesting that Dr Kinsey mentioned the so-called coprolalia, that is obscene and sexy language used during sexual intercourse, but forgot about erotolalia, which is much more frequent.

Human language is a powerful tool.

If you want to catch some of the sauciest examples of “dirty talk”, indulge yourself by reading parts of Juliette and Justine, written two hundred years ago by Marquis De Sade. He was imprisoned because of his books. One also cannot pass the Egyptian queen Cleopatra. She used words to enchant the Roman general Marc Anthony, who consequently forgot his wife Octavia. Despite Octavia's alleged beauty and sex appeal, she unfortunately didn't have the ability of erotolalia, which was significant in Mark’s sexual practice.

It's therefore strange that erotolalia has been neglected for so long, even by the most well-known sex experts of the world, such as the legendary German sexologist Richard von Krafft-Ebing, who, for example, does mention coprolagnia.

Sexy language pleases and arouses both men and women. Erotolalia is often humorous and perhaps this is why it's not suitable for scientific discourse and academic articles. For this reason, it will be hard to find in sexology studies, but will often show itself in literature and, of course, in sexual practices of numerous couples who enjoy it immensely.
