ATTENTION: Anal Intercourse Causes Hemorrhoids!

Why does anal intercourse cause hemorrhoids?

A system of tissues, bones and cartilage which enables the functioning of the digestive tract, is extremely complicated. Anorectal canal is held together by tendons and muscles. The lower part of the canal is surrounded by veins, which function as little cushions filled with blood. This cushions protect the canal, enable the functioning of the sphincter muscles and help to signalize the need to excrete at the same time.

When the sphincter muscles are exposed to great 'strains' the veins inside the cushions become swollen for protection. Usually they return back to normal. The inner hemorrhoids are the consequence of extreme enlargement of the vein cushions which do not return back to normal.

Too much strain and the irritation of the anus are two main causes for the development of hemorrhoids. Hemorrhoids and the injuries of the rectum can also occur as a consequence of anal intercourse that is practiced in the wrong way. No research has ever showed that anal intercourse can permanently damage the rectum or cause hemorrhoids, if it is practiced the right way. But people often don't take enough time to educate themselves about the safety.
