Be Careful with the Soap when Washing Your Private Parts
Did you know that when women wash their private parts too often - or when they do it with the soap, this can cause vaginal infection?
The natural pH of the vagina can be ruined with the soap, which can cause chronic vaginal infections. (jlp)
Be careful with the soap! The
pH value of the vagina is between 3,8 and 4,5, which means that the vagina's natural environment is acidic. This environment protects the vagina from many bacteria. Women often wash with regular shower soap down there. This is a mistake! Body soaps have a higher pH value than our vaginas and therefore regular soap is not recommended for washing your vagina. It takes only a little for the mucous membrane of the vagina to become infected. Women know from experience that the
infection can be very annoying, as it can burn and itch. The infection also has a tendency to reccur.
When washing your vagina, you better leave soap alone. (jlp)
Soaps for intimate hygiene are adapted to the acidic environment of the vagina. But be careful with the soap especially intended for intimate parts, too! Washing your vagina too often with the intimate soap can also destroy the natural environment and the bacteria which protect us from infection. Many gynecologists therefore advise against any use of soap whatsoever.
