Do you want to get pregnant? Then do not abstain from sex!

If you are planning to conceive a baby, you should not “store” your sperm cells! The same goes for sperm cells; more often is better.

It has been believed for a long time that men who want to conceive a child have to practice abstinence. Too frequent ejaculations presumably affect the number of sperm cells, and thereby the ability to conceive. Today, scientists believe that is not the case any more. Less frequent ejaculations do not increase chances of conception – they can even reduce them. Longer sperms cells are accumulated, larger is the percentage of damaged sperm cells, and chances of conception are therefore the same, if not decreased.

In addition, abstinence leads to other tensions which can also affect a person’s general well-being and satisfaction.

A study conducted by Australian scientists, including a relatively small sample of 42 men whose sperm had an abnormal shape under a microscope, produced interesting results that put some of the beliefs to date to the test.

In the first part of the study, men were asked to ejaculate every day. Then the sperm was examined. In the second part, the same men were asked to abstain from ejaculation for three days. After comparing the results from the first and second parts of the study, it was found that everyday ejaculation reduces the number of damaged sperm cells. If you therefore abstain from ejaculation for a long time, damaged sperm cells accumulate as well and, in the end, you are almost less likely to conceive as if having sexual intercourse every day.

Therefore, if you want to have a baby, roll up your sleeves and do your work. There should be no excessive restrictions. It is better if you relax and let yourselves go.
