Intimate Hygiene: Women Should Be Very Careful
One cannot be too careful with intimate hygiene. When women wash their private parts too frequently, they can easily bring about a vaginal infection.

The PH value of the vagina is between 3,8 and 4,5, which means that the vagina's natural environment is acidic. This environment protects it from many bacteria, and this fact should be taken into consideration in your intimate hygiene. Women make a mistake when they wash "down there" with a regular shower soap. Body soaps have a higher PH value than the vagina and therefore aren't recommended for washing it.
It takes little for the mucous membrane of the vagina to become infected. Women know from experience that the infection can be very annoying, as it burns and itches. The infection also has a tendency to recur.
Special shower gels for intimate hygiene are adapted to the acidic environment of the vagina. However, washing your vagina too often with the intimate soap can also destroy its natural environment and the bacteria that protect us from infection. Many gynaecologists therefore advise against any use of soap in women's intimate hygiene.
