A woman doesn’t need to suffer during childbirth, rather she can enjoy the experience. Debra’s goal is to teach women to enjoy labor to the extent that leads them to a climax.

The aforementioned film deals with the taboo information that, in the author’s opinion, has been kept a secret for many years. It mentions the fact that some women climax when the baby travels through the birth canal. This is supposed to be the best-kept secret of birth and the main topic of the documentary, which dispels numerous cultural and emotional myths. The documentary teaches us that the female body functions in a way that allows women to feel great pleasure in both sexual intercourse and in the natural processes associated with strain, such as labor or breastfeeding. Debra advises women to focus solely on experiencing pleasure during labor, instead of pain. She also warns them that the message of the documentary doesn’t imply that those who don’t achieve an orgasm during childbirth have failed. However, she claims it’s possible to learn how to focus on pleasure during delivery.

How can one achieve an orgasm during childbirth?

Women who’ve experienced an orgasm during childbirth say that they felt pleasant sensations during labor. Their body was marked by the activity in the birth canal and the vagina and reacted in a fascinating way. Some people aren’t surprised by this, since a child comes into the world through the same pathway that the penis enters during sexual intercourse. As hormone changes occur during childbirth, that is, elevated levels of prolactin, oxytocin and beta-endorphins, the body releases molecules that cause the feelings of comfort. Women who want to have orgasmic birth are advised to be pampered the whole time during labor, either by nurses and midwives or their partner. Therefore, a pregnant woman should be caressed and massaged across her back, hugged and kissed and placed in positions in which she feels comfortable. This often also means childbirth in water. A woman can have contractions in a sitting, squatting or kneeling position, where her partner supports her and massages her abdomen. Gentle touches are very important because they relax and calm a woman giving birth.
