Testosterone and sexual potency

Whether a particular man adores sex is not up to his conscious decision, intellect, good intentions, fairness or kindness, instead it depends on the influence of his hormones on the brain, over which he unfortunately has no influence. One of the most widely known and important hormones in this respect is testosterone, thanks to which many men experience greater sexual potential, which includes attracting and seducing a partner, the libido, repetition and the length of sexual intercourse as well as masturbation and keeping his partner satisfied during shagging.

By the beginning of puberty at the latest every man realizes his sexual potential. A man who has a higher level of testosterone has a greater desire for sex already in the phase of self discovery and getting to know his own body. Based on this, he forms an idea of how often he gets aroused and then gratifies himself and he knows instinctively how well his condition will be able to satisfy women, too.

Testosterone is responsible for attraction

This instinctive realization of having a high level of testosterone is accompanied by a confident approach to potential partners, of course. Namely, women make judgements about a man’s libido and his potency based on how confidently he behaves, but confidence is not something one can control as one pleases or even fake it successfully. And why do we claim that confidence cannot be a total act? Because of the smell that accompanies the sexual state. Thanks to their pheromones, we can evaluate someone’s sexual potential. Like women, men also secrete molecules of their hormones through their pores. Higher levels of testosterone are also noticed in this way. The chemical compounds (pheromones), which are secreted in this process, emit an aroma of attraction which transmits a message to other members of the species. We cannot talk about a specific smell, but it does have a great influence on sexual attraction. Scientists have even determined that we feel a greater attraction towards members of the opposite sex if they have a larger amount of hormones characteristic of their gender, even though we may not exactly like the way they look. A man's high level of testosterone will definitely bring a positive response from women.

More attractive men supposedly have more testosterone

Despite everything, testosterone influences also the physical appearance of a man. Studies show that on average men with higher levels of testosterone are more muscular, better built and in better shape - not solely because they would do more sports.

The negative side of this is hair, which grows thicker and quicker in comparison to men who have less testosterone. Testosterone supposedly also influences the shape and traits of the face – sharp features and a more pronounced Adam’s apple are another sign that a man has a higher level of testosterone.
