There is no way back after vasectomy
Along with condoms, men are familiar with the form of contraception known as sterilisation or, more correctly, vasectomy. However, you have to think carefully before deciding on it because later there is no turning back.
Vasectomy is the more correct term for sterilisation, which is a surgical procedure. A surgeon cuts or removes the vas deferens, the tube which carries sperms upwards from your testicle. It is usually performed to prevent inflammations and, at the same time, it is the method for permanent sterilisation of men and one of the possibilities of contraception. After the operation, swelling and an unpleasant feeling are normal, which can be alleviated by cold compresses or painkillers. The result of the procedure, which is 99% effective, is that it stops sperm entering semen. Men who decide on the operation recover in a very short time and there are no consequences in sex life. The hormone state remains unchanged after vasectomy. Sexual desire does not decline and ejaculation and the feelings in sexual intercourse do not change.
Vasectomy is recommended to men who do not want to have children any more.
However, you have to thoroughly consider your decision on sterilisation as reversal is not possible, or there is no “way” back after the operation. This means you have to ask yourself quite a few questions, such as: What if some day I want to have children again? Does my partner want the same? In case of a divorce, will my new partner want to have children? And in particular, if she is younger…
As already said, vasectomy prevents pregnancy and not potential sexual diseases, which is still ensured by good old condoms and medical examinations.
