What is acupuncture?

Acupuncture is an ancient Chinese method that helps improve blood circulation and balances life energy in the body (Qi), or in other words, keeps the balance between yin and yang (male and female energy). The acupuncturist determines imbalance in the body and inserts needles in large energy points, meridians, and thus stimulates body’s energy flow.

Who does acupuncture help?

Acupuncture can help pregnant women. The body of a pregnant woman undergoes massive changes. Some women deal with them well, while others have a lot of problems. Acupuncture can help in the event of morning sickness and minor pains in the perineum. It is also recommended as an alternative to painkillers during childbirth, as a part from restoring body’s balance, acupuncture triggers the release of endorphins, which are natural painkillers. Endorphins stimulate general wellbeing and positive thinking.

Acupuncture can help your sex life, too. It helps solve problems with vaginal lubrication, infertility, impotence, premature ejaculation and low sperm counts. Acupuncture helps overcome the problems that arise during the menopause and andropause.
Acupuncture also solves problems with libido. Acupuncture stimulates the so-called male energy and thus contributes to boosting libido. Acupuncturists focus, above all, on body points associated with kidneys and liver, that is, body’s filters.
Acupuncture also works the other way round. It help overcome sex addiction. Acupuncture explains addictions as a systemic imbalance. Restoring the balance also means treating an addiction.

Negative side effects of acupuncture

Acupuncture is a painless procedure. Sometimes you may feel slightly unpleasant, which is often the result of too much energy. The most common consequences are slight scratches and slight swelling around the area of insertion. Owing to an extremely calming effect, people often feel “high”. Sometimes they even faint. Potential negative side effects of acupuncture are also related to needles. Today most acupuncture practitioners use needles for single use. Acupuncture and sex

It is recommended that you do not have sex three to four hours before and after acupuncture. If you eat or have sex before acupuncture, you concentrate your energy on a specific part (stomach, genitals), which can confuse your healer. Most of them are capable of identifying genuine symptoms (the drugs you take can also present an obstacle in identifying symptoms), but why would you make work more difficult and thus affect the positive result? If you do that after acupuncture, you can negate the positive effect of acupuncture. If you had a session because of pain in your arm and you have sex after acupuncture, all the energy in your arm will be channelled to your sex organs.
