Shigeo Tokuda is married and has a daughter, who does not know what he is doing. His name has become a real brand name in Japan. In his movies, he plays a refined man who teaches women of all ages about the art of sexuality. He works for the Glory Quest Company, which is the first company that produced a series with an older man, Training of Lolitas (2004). But this style of film production is extremely competitive. The representative of Glory Quest, Kayoko Iimura said: ''If we only make the standard fare, we cannot beat other studios. There were already adult videos with Lolitas or themes of incest, so we wanted to make something new. A relationship between a wife and an old father-in-law has enough twists to create an atmosphere of mystery and captivate the viewers' hearts.''

Tokuda adds his thoughts: ''Elderly people don't identify with school dramas. It's easier for them to relate to older-men-and-daughters-in-law series, so they tend to watch adult videos with older people in them. People of my age generally feel shame, so they are very hesitant to show their private parts. But I am proud of myself for doing something they cannot. That doesn't mean that I can tell them about my old-age pensioner job.'' The Japanese porn industry market is worth about trillion dollars. The biggest video store releases 1000 new titles every month, 300 of them featuring older actors.

Ryuichi Kadowaki, the manager of the Ruby Inc. Company, which deals with movies featuring mature women, told an interesting fact. A few years ago, the term mature woman meant a young girl in her twenties, but last year the term described 70 year-old women. Movies with mature women are more persistent on the market. Normal movies stop selling after three months, but the ones with older actresses stay on the market for a longer period of time. The changes in the porn industry reflect the ageing of the Japanese society and their new and more open attitude to sex.
