Scientists are developing a 'sex chip' which will stimulate the parts of the brain which trigger feelings of arousal and pleasure. The chip will be finished in about ten years. Its functioning will be based on small electrodes sending stimuli into those parts of the brain which trigger pleasure. This technology has already been used for a long time in America to treat Parkinson’s disease. Lately, the scientists developing the 'sex chip' are paying a lot of attention to the part of the brain behind the eyes, called the orbitofrontal cortex, where feelings of pleasure we experience when eating food and having sex supposedly occur. This is where the problems of people who can’t experience real sexual pleasure supposedly stem from. Psychologists at the University of Oxford say that the stimulation of those segments would lead to feelings of extreme pleasure and relaxation.

Dr. Tipu Aziz, another employee of Oxford, believes that the ‘sex chip’ could cause a real revolution in the next ten years. He proves the effectiveness of the chip with the case of a woman who had a lack of sexual desire. A few years ago, scientists put the chip into her and her frigidity was gone that very same day. She became a very sexually active woman, but because the sudden changes didn’t feel well, the chip had to be removed from her head. This woman supposedly didn’t like her sudden addiction to sex.

The device will supposedly improve so drastically until 2015 that it will be possible to control and manage it with a remote control. Dr. Aziz says the sex chip could be used for many other brain functions. It will only need to be switched on and off. With its help, we should even be experiencing orgasms on our own. Dr. Stuart Meloy from North Carolina is already developing a variety of the chip which will affect the spine and which will cause indescribable sexual pleasure with women. He named it after the orgasmic device from the movie Sleeper directed by Woody Allen – Orgasmatron. There’s no doubt that technology is developing in the direction of saving our time in many activities.
